My passion for animals has been life long. I can't remember a day that I haven't given thought to the animals in the world. I hope this passes down to my children, for they are the future of our wildlife.

First I must talk about how the Air Force gave me my tools to pursue my medic background. When I went into the Air Force in 1982 I didn't know the exact challenge before me. I soon found out that medicine was the greatest thing that I gave to my self esteem. I loved it, and challenged it, and excelled at every turn. Yes it is another passion of mine. When I go to work, I love my work with people, not just the paycheck.

Do you know, or your baby sitter, what to do if, your child chokes or has a serious accident while help arrives? PLEASE find your local American Red Cross or American Heart Association to learn child CPR and first aid. Or volunteer to teach, It could save a child's life!

Next I would like to share some links and loves for dogs. I raised and trained German Shepherds for almost 5 years. It may not seen very long for some people, but, it was an experience I wouldn't trade for anything in my life. I had been training dogs for about 4 years before I met the German breed and the people who train in the sport of Schutzhund. I met a person named Willie in Spokane Washington and he gave me the opportunity to train my dogs in a fantastic as well as personal growth sport. The people I met through this sport will always be in my memories, forever.

My father gave me my first horse around the age of 9. Wow how do I love them still. it's hard for me to think that I could still take care of one, but, my Dad and my step Mother is raising and training them now. So anytime we can, the kids and I only have to drive 1 hour and we are at the Reintree Stables. What a beautiful ranch. My husband and many other family members have put in incredible hours over the past few years in helping build up the ranch to it's full potential, and how it has paid off. My Grandpa and Grandma Doris have moved out to the ranch to help and enjoy their golden years.

Some day when my kids are older, my husband and I will travel and scuba dive with dolphins. Well this may not be his first choice, but he has given in to the idea of swimming with these great animals. Our Love for the Ocean is a family affair. We can't wait for summer in the Pacific Northwest, we will see you Kalalock every summer. You can see this must be genetic, because my daughter MacKenzie has taken a great love for the Dolphin. Brie now loves the Oracs. I'm glad these loves and passions have traveled down to my children. I feel that passions drive us to excel to our fullest in our lives, without them we could not love, live, and work to the best that we can be.

Parenting is a challenge, not to be taken very lightly, but some of us need to try not to be perfect and learn to make mistakes, take life in stride, and not sweat the little stuff!
I read way to many books and, then finally found a book about how to be a normal parent, no perfection needed. Soon I hope to share, knowledge, hope, hap piness and websites in my parenting page. I hope you will share with me also, for we are all in this together, the passion of our children out weighs any of life's ups and downs.

Last but not least, my silly habit of collecting cows. Yes, cows in the kitchen, cows in the bedroom and cows on the walls. Someone needs to help me with this. Not sure how to stop. Well I have slowed down!
When I get brave enough to share, I will add a page just for my personal poetry. I loved to right a poem almost monthly all my life. Most people who know me have no knowledge of this, I hope I don't shock them to much!
